Adjuster Squared
Adjuster Squared
Adjuster Squared is a modular font system built on an 8×8 square grid. Each character is constructed exclusively from straight line segments set at 0°, 45°, and 90°.
Every square is subdivided into thirds, with one-third defining the stroke weight of the character. Select angled edges are softened through controlled rounding, constrained to 1:1 for right angles and 1:3 for acute and obtuse angles.
A core rule governs every glyph: each character must extend to all four sides of the grid — top, bottom, left, and right. This ensures that every letter fully occupies its square, forming a cohesive system of uniform, block-based characters. The result is a typeface that feels architectural and systematic, yet expressive through its disciplined geometry and spatial relationships.
